We worked with Umodzi Gin to revamp its brand strategy and strengthen its digital presence. The project focused on aligning the brand’s image with its premium product offering, creating captivating content for social media, and developing offline marketing strategies for markets like UK and South Africa and Mozambique. By crafting a cohesive brand identity and elevating Umodzi Gin’s visibility both online and offline, Wavure helped increase brand awareness and engagement, positioning Umodzi as a standout in the competitive spirits market.

Summary

Umodzi Gin, an African premium gin brand, sought to strengthen its brand presence across digital platforms. However, the company lacked a cohesive brand strategy, and its brand image was misaligned with its goals. Wavure Studio was brought on board to revamp Umodzi’s brand image digitally and enhance their social media presence with captivating content. We also assisted in creating offline brand assets to ensure a consistent identity across all touchpoints.

Umodzi Gin faced two major challenges: a weak social media presence and a fragmented brand image. Their content lacked consistency and didn’t effectively communicate their unique identity or story to consumers. The task for Wavure was to create a unified digital and offline brand presence that aligned with Umodzi Gin’s premium and authentic African heritage.

Wavure Studio began by conducting an audit of Umodzi’s existing digital platforms and branding. From there, we devised a refreshed brand strategy that highlighted Umodzi’s values—premium quality, authenticity, and African pride.

On the digital front, we enhanced their social media presence by creating visually striking, engaging content that reflected their new brand image. Our team designed captivating visuals, developed brand stories, and launched targeted campaigns aimed at connecting with their audience on a deeper level.

Additionally, we assisted in the creation of offline brand assets such as promotional materials, ensuring that the brand’s new visual identity remained consistent across all marketing channels.
